Reservation Procedures and Policies

Procedures

  • Please make advance reservations online or by telephone. First, click here to Check Room Availability. To access the secure online reservation form, click here - Reservation Request Form, after reading our policies below. A credit card number or advance payment may be required to obtain a confirmed reservation. You will provide credit card information only to secure the reservation. You will be charged upon arrival. You will receive a confirmation letter via email once your reservation has been confirmed. Please note the Policies below, before committing to a reservation.

  • If you would like to get some idea of room availability, click here - Check Availability. Please note that online availability is updated approximately every hour.

  • Minimum reservation of two (2) nights on weekends may apply.

  • Reservations are guaranteed by the guest's valid credit card. The total bill is payable upon arrival.

  • Rooms are available for check-in by appointment after 2:00 pm. Should you wish to arrive earlier, we are happy to register you, check your bags, and provide you with keys to your room which will be ready for you after 2:00 pm. As we do not have a 24-hour desk and out of courtesy to our other guests, we ask that all check-ins occur before 6:00 pm. All arrivals need to provide flight information or other arrival details in order to confirm arrival time. Check out time is 12:00 noon.

  • Additional Charge for 2nd person in room is ten dollars per night added to the daily rate for single occupancy.  Additional Charge for 3rd person in Ambassador or Garden Rooms, or for setting up an extra bed in any room, is $20 per night added to the daily rate for double occupancy.

  • All room rates are subject to a 13.875% + $3.50 per night state & local hotel tax.

  • Cancellations MUST BE MADE AT LEAST 72 HOURS PRIOR TO SCHEDULED ARRIVAL. Guests cancelling less than 72 hours prior to scheduled check-in will be charged the full amount of their reservation.

Policies

  • Mature, quiet guests are preferred. We do everything we can to preserve a tranquil atmosphere in our house. If you would like to bring a child with you, please contact us. Children under 18 must be in rooms accompanied by a parent.

  • Smoking is not allowed in the room. Evidence of smoking in the room will result in an additional charge of $250 plus one room night and applicable tax will be billed to cover the additional cleaning for smoking in the room and loss of revenue. No open flames of any kind, including lit cigarettes or burning candles, are allowed in the building.

  • No pets are allowed.

Cancellation Policy

Abingdon Guest House maintains a strict cancellation policy.

Cancellations MUST BE MADE AT LEAST 72 HOURS PRIOR TO SCHEDULED ARRIVAL. Guests cancelling less than 72 hours prior to scheduled check-in will be charged the full amount of their reservation.

Upon arrival, full payment will be accepted in cash (USD) or credit card. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, and Diners Club cards.
